Our established total foot care centre’s provide treatments such as fracture management, sports injury rehabilitation, all types of lower limb Orthotics, biomechanical gait assessment and footwear prescription. Our own fully-equipped Orthotic laboratory fabricates gives the opportunity for hands on Orthotics and plaster modifications training to help you provide the ultimate in lower limb Orthotic prescription.
This opportunity develops you to prescribe total Footcare to patients by combining lower-limb orthoses, technical sports & comfort footwear, as well as items such as support stockings, creams and other foot-care products.
As an Orthotist with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience, you will have Podiatrists aiding you on your team and will be operating with cutting edge gait technology including Tech-Step gait and plantar pressure equipment and video gait analysis equipment to help diagnose and prescribe to your patients.

In this role you will take on:
• Initial foot & lower limb assessments with force platform & video gait analysis
• Foot / ankle Injury and fracture immobilisation and rehabilitation
• Referral relationship building with current and new referrers
• Prescription of appropriate high end sports footwear and foot care products to clients
• Maintenance of professional membership & continuing education
• Completion of Patient records, Orthosis Work Order and Quality assurance
• Treatment applications to funding groups
• Casting / Moulding and modifications to all types of Orthoses
• Orthosis fitting, reviewing, modifying and adjusting to obtain optimal comfort and treatment results
• Complement Orthotic therapy with rehabilitation, / mobilisation techniques, stretch and strength programs
$52,000 - $65,000 plus incentives
