Gallagher Aquatic Centre is a local community pool complex located in the suburb of Melville. While not as large as Waterworld, the centre offers 2 pools. 25m long means you can do laps while the kids are watched over by the lifeguards. The toddler's pool is a great place for safe fun.
Like Waterworld it to, has an outdoor area and BBQ's which makes it great for a family day out. There is even a sheltered kids playground and picnic area.
Weekends and school holidays between 1-4pm, the main pool comes alive with a large inflatable. Outside a bouncy castle operates during these times too.
Gallagher Pools also cater for disabled patrons with easy access to pools via a ramp. And of course swimming lessons are available, just contact the centre.
