ArtsPost is Hamilton's central hub for local art displays. The three galleries have free entry. Arts Post is located right next door to the Waikato Museum, opposite Hood Street.
The centre is housed in the old Post and Telegraph Office, and the building has been lovingly restored as a heritage building. Arts Post is not just about paintings. All forms of mixed media are represented with a constantly changing schedule of exhibitions. There's always something new to see and experience.
In addition to the art and sculptures, ArtsPost also houses a shop where you will find all manner of local crafts and artistic works for sale. Support artists in the Waikato by making a purchase!
The centre is run by the Hamilton City Council. The WSA Art School is run by the Waikato Society of Arts is based in the ArtsPost building on the first level. They also operate the WSA Art School.
