Local Parks

Just a short drive west of Hamilton is raglan beach. Their web site will give you ideas of the things to do, and services available there.

Hillcrest Beach
In the backblocks of Hillcrest, near the river. From Cobham drive, go down Howell ave, then louise pl, right off Louise St onto Malcolm. Good jumping spots. Percieved cleaner water from being upstream of most of Hamilton. Nice big bend in river gives plenty of swimming space without too much of a current.
